Creativity is part of who I am, I can't help it! Whether it's sewing or drawing or making costumes for my children it's something that has been part of what makes Amy, Amy.
I studied A Level Art and then went on to Chelsea school of Art and Design to do my Fountation Year. This turned out to be unsuccessful and I left half way through the year. I always regretted it but it was right for me at the time. Drawing was put on the back burner for many years, I got married and had two beautiful children. I started drawing again in the spring of 2015. I had this urge to draw bunnies, it was Easter. However this was my sign and I have never forgotten it. Always create, even when you don't feel like it. I started to created pieces of art from then on and took lots of commissions, especially toy portraits and my beautiful bright bunny. I did this alongside my other business, Bowman Bears which was a massively successful keepsake bear business.
I moved to Seaford two years ago and now work with small children in a primary school as their Teaching assistant. It's hugely rewarding especially when they can be creative.
I now offer Toy Portrait commissions again and will list art works as they become available on my Etsy page.
